Taylor

Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: a pop star that has crossed the line completely from country music to pop culture to become a global icon that is enduring and has captured the hearts of a vast majority of people around the globe. Swift has shed her country roots she had acquired like it's a second instinct and demonstrated that she's the greatest pop-singer/songwriter her generation. Swift could make the moments personal while also conveying the atmosphere. Swift's first hits, particularly their neo payback to Tim McGraw, showed off the talents of her. But her 2008 album Fearless revealed a songwriter who was exploring her own voice and finding a large audience. Fearless was hugely popular, not just within the U.S., with six platinum-certified singles thanks of the Top Ten songs Love Story & I Belong with Me. It was also a huge success internationally, in countries like Canada, the U.K. Canada & Australia. Swift's next album, Speak Now, released almost two years after her first one, was a resounding success. Speak Now helped propel Swift into the spotlight. The next three years, Swift's fame was growing with the release of three albums -- Red (2012), Reputation (2014) and 1989 (2014-2015) during which time she stepped into the world of pop where her talents were already well established. When she scaled her music back, with her stripped-down album of the year 2020, folklore and Evermore however, she was still the king of the pop world. That position was further maintained by the release of remastered versions of songs from her prior catalog as well as Midnights her most popular synth-heavy release planned for 2022.
