Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. Her childhood was filled with dreams of great heights. Her best roles include the film about spying, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the thriller Precious. When she was a child, Paula Patton was raised in an Los Angeles middle-class household. Instilling a passion for film within her daughter was a skill that she learned from her mother, she also enjoyed watching films. Paula took part in the co-curricular programs at her school, and was a drama enthusiast. She was a member of her class as well as participated in school's productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School gave her many chances to perform during her high school years and she decided to pursue acting to pursue a career. She was enrolled in the University of Southern California's summer camp, and loved the experience to death. She was awarded a three-month project making documentaries for PBS. Following the successful completion of the assignment, she began working as an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. Following the completion of her project and completing her documentary, she began producing films. Although she enjoyed the work she was doing but she was always wishing for acting roles. She began her journey into acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star in romance comedy Hitch. Since then, she has been in a variety of films and television shows.
